Description:
Please join us for a wonderful event including three professional organizations - APICS, CSCMP, and ISM San Diego. This networking event will involve a panel discussing:
How Universities and Industry can work together to produce, develop, and advance Supply Chain talent.
What you'll learn:
Where do companies find their supply chain talent? Does that talent match firms’ needs? Are supply chain management skill requirements the same across all industries? Firms, universities and professional associations have struggled with these questions for years, and it is clear that there are no “one size fits all” answers.
Universities must understand industry’s evolving supply chain management needs and develop a curriculum that produces talent that supports those needs. Industry must take steps to develop and advance this talent to ensure long-term success.
The panel will share their ideas on this important subject and answer audience questions.
